Now Hiring: Golf Course Marshals

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and observant Golf Course Marshal to join our team for the season. As a Golf Course Marshal, you are the face of the club out on the fairways. Your primary mission is to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all players. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, has a flexible schedule, and interacting with the public.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage Pace of Play: Monitor the flow of golfers on the course and politely assist slower groups to stay on schedule.

● Customer Service: Provide a welcoming atmosphere, greet golfers, answer general inquiries, and assist players with course information.

● Enforce Etiquette & Rules: Firmly but tactfully communicate course policies, dress codes, and safety rules.

● Course Inspections: Monitor general conditions, spot potential hazards, and communicate maintenance issues directly to the Pro Shop.

● Player Assistance: Assist golfers in locating lost items, managing golf carts, or dealing with unexpected on-course situations.

Qualifications & Skills

● Strong knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, and basic etiquette.

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to handle player conflicts with patience, diplomacy, and professionalism.

● Flexible schedule with availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by daylight hours.

● Ability to drive a golf cart and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

● First Aid certification is considered a strong asset.
